If you could please add the ranges which would be helpful, due to the fact that labs differ in their machines, so ranges are different. Also did you have the blood test at the earliest and allow 24hours approx from your last dose and the test?
Sorry, I had a job getting the docs receptionist to tell me my results over the phone, she said my t4 was within rang but that my tsh needed to be discussed with doc at appointment .
I took the test early morning before eating and without taking my Thyroid s. (Took it after)
That's good about the timing of your test. In the future always ask for a print-out as the ranges should be stated.
Your T4 looks very low to me although it might be in the normal range but 'normal' isn't good enough when we're on thyroid hormones. We should have results in the upper part of the range.
Also if we don't take levothyroxine, our T4 will be lower as T3 will be in the mix of NDT, or if on T3 only, so blood tests should only be used as a guide and 'how we feel is the best judge of dose'.
