Just taken my first ThyroidS tablet !!

Well, I have done it! Wasn't expecting my head to blow off of course! I have stopped my alt. 50/75 Levo and took one 60mcg ThyroidS instead this morning. I understand that it takes 6 weeks for Levo. to leave the body so will arr. blood test for end Aug. I am wondering what to expect now. Can anyone help please.

Yay! I hope you start feeling better soon! Ndt literally changed my life in a short few weeks.

I think first couple days I felt a little strange (not bad strange just different) due to all that t3 in the body but it settled quite quickly for me. If you feel odd, it might be worth taking split doses (I'm on 2 grains now, but I just can't hack having 1 full grain in the pm/evening so I have 1 in the am, 1/2pm and 1/2 night- even a subtle change like that might help because t3 doesn't last so long).

Also it's good to have a record of body temp (same time daily) and testing pulse for reference.

Personally, a lot of my symptoms went away within the first 10 days but it's been 6 weeks and my bbt is fluctuating still (but no longer recording below 35 ever, I started on a steady 34.3) and though the brain fog is lifted, memory is still shot to hell. Remember it can take the same amount of time as we got sick to get better so some symptom will take longer than others to go.
