I have lowered my cortispl
JC,
How did you lower it?
Have retested cortisol levels?
I went and paid Genova to do tests, I was high midday and 6pm others were fine, I have been taking phosphatidal serine ( not sure it's spelt right). Also over 70% dark chocolate, vitamin c and berry smoothies. My Endo done cortisol blood test says its normal, but that was 9.30 am and I think I'm normal that time anyway......
But as I feel really ill and have caught a cold after 5 years I presumed it is normal, as you don't get colds with high cortisol.
Joanneconnor I think you'd need to repeat the Genova test to know if your cortisol is actually lower.
My first three cortisol readings are all at the very top of the range, and on a previous test my third one was over range; however, I haven't had a cold for probably well over 10 or more years but I do take supplements to help immune system and also homeopathic Oscillococcinum from October through to April to help prevent cold/flu type illness.
