I've read a few different things, but I'm interested in finding out if taking it on an evening or morning works best?

AutoimmuneKate,

Try it and see. I didn't feel any different. Research shows that Levothyroxine taken at night may lower TSH more, perhaps because of the longer time Levothyroxine has to be absorbed before eating.

Just remember when blood tests are due for thyroid hormones, the appointment should be the earliest possible and fast but you can drink water.

Also, if you decide to take a bedtime dose, you must miss this the night before the blood test and take it afterwards. You can also take the bedtime dose as usual that same day.
