Morning. Urgent question. Stupidly, I have come away for 2 nights and forgotten to bring my levothyroxine. So, do I need to go home and get it, and will I feel any problems for not taking it for 2 days. Also, I am due for bloods first thing Monday morning , will it affect that?
Thanks

You might not have too much of a problem as levo has a long half-life but it might affect your blood test results so maybe change appointment till next week.
No don't panic... Its an inert storage hormone which remains in the body for weeks, so you should have plwnty of the suff floating around. Standard advice is not to take it for 24 hours before a blood test, so you wouldnt take it today anyway.
Some people only dose once a week and do fine, Probably best to Take the meds you missed today, after your blood test tomorrow....
Shaws advice to delay your appointment is good, maybe delay it for a week. You probably won't notice missing you levothyroxine for a couple of days. Your TSH will increase a little and this tends to produce more T3, compensating for the reduced T4. Of course this compensation only works for a few days. I'd take a double dose of levothyroxine as soon as you get back and then resume as normal. If you have the bloods taken on Monday your TSH will be higher than normal, giving misleading results.
