Celiac's blood test results help
Nikkie2975,
Assuming you were eating normal amounts of gluten prior to your screen your result is negative for coeliac disease.
I'm not really eating gluten at the moment as far as i know but i'm happy it's negative.
Nikki2975,
You should eat gluten daily in at least one meal in the six weeks prior to testing otherwise the result is skewed and you will get a negative result even though you may have coeliac disease.
Hello Nikki2975,
perhaps have a look at this website for the Gluten Free Society. glutenfreesociety.org/genet...
Dr Peter Osbourne is the author of No Grain No Pain and the short video is enlightening.
Finding out if you have Single Nucleotide Genetic Marker (SNP's) in the HLA-DQA sequence will be a definitive answer. However environmental factors have to collide to activate the gene and express full-blown Coeliac disease.
Best Wishes
