First day back at work after five weeks off with thyroid induced stress/depression . Feel really really anxious 😱

Anita, Good Luck and am sure you will be o.k. The sensations of anxiety etc are horrible but hope you settle down when you get to work.

I hope you are on a decent dose of thyroid hormones as sometimes it takes a while to get to a stable dose when you feel well again.

That certainly will make a world of difference. When we've been unwell our confidence seems to have gone somewhere else and we feel vulnerable.

I feel incredibly vulnerable even knowing that everyone is going to be really nice and ask if I'm feeling better etc I work in an open plan office so there's nowhere to hide . Thank you for your kind words

It went ok thanks . my manager was really supportive and I just stayed for a couple of hours .
