Needing help again..... I have had all symptoms of untreated/undiagnosed hypothyroid for 3 years despite being treated with what has worked its way upto 100mcg Levothryoxine. I have seen two separate endocrinologists who have tested me for a variety of deficiencies etc. I have just been told all are normal. Never been so poorly, I was hoping something like vitamin D could be the cause but it appears it is not that simple. The fatigue is ruining my life along with all other typical symptoms. I have tried T3 didn't work, eat extremely healthy don't smoke or drink sleep enough..... Does anyone have suggestions on what else can be causing this??? I am being tested for rheumatoid illnesses including MS/ME, and k have not been tested for adrenal gland function as it was clear to the doctor that was not my problem. I go travelling in 7 months now and I am dreading being at the other side of the world feeling as sick as I do xxx

We need your results WITH ranges - as suggested 2 months ago. More than happy to help but it is so difficult without the numbers as a guide ....
No good trying T3 unless your Ferritin - Folate - B12 - VitD are all OPTIMAL in their ranges ....
KLM1992,
If you post your thyroid results and ranges members will advise whether 100mcg is an optimal dose or whether it needs adjusting. If you post vitamin and mineral tests and ranges members will also advise whether they are optimal. 'Normal' ranges are very broad. It is better to optimise levels.
You have chronic thyroiditis which is an autoimmune thyroid disease (Hashimoto's). There's no treatment for autoimmune disease but 100% gluten-free diet has helped many Hashi patients improve symptoms and reduce antibodies.
