Is Chronic Fatigue Syndrome finally being taken seriously?

The light at the end of my tunnel doesn't look any brighter, unfortunately
Over the last decade I have seen so many reports of a similar vein - even in the guardian** - but there doesn't seem to have been much progress. Of course anything that raises awareness of the stigma surrounding this much maligned condition has to be a positive. And, in truth, I am heartened to know that there is at least one professional out there paying serious attention. So I look forward to new developments, I look forward to them identifying a solution for some if not all sufferers, but I will not be holding my breath.
** you can read most, if not all, of them if you do a 'the guardian chronic fatigue' google search. I love Jill Stratton's theguardian.com/commentisfr... rebellion against the nay sayers.
There have been a number of similar articles over the last decade. The wider research community have regarded it as a physical illness for some time. There has however been decades of misreporting and psychologically biased research in the two primary medical newspapers and all the damage done by PACE reporting is as psychological. It will take a whole new generation of medics making it to 'Consultant' before the descrimination ends.
The problem we now have is that patients are almost exclusively sourced from psychological clinics even when the researchers regard the disease as physical.
