I have just received my TPO results which are 144 (0-60). Clearly these are raised but I don't know whether this is very high or not.
Also I am aware that some people say that going gluten free can help. Any info about that would be great.

Mouse, TPOab are positive for autoimmune thyroid disease (Hashimoto's) but 144 isn't very high and cutting out gluten may well reduce them.

I am going to give a gluten free diet a try.
MY TPO was about the same level, not high by some standards but I felt very unwell. I went gluten free and after 3 months felt a lot better, but still not right so I then went lacto free and after a further 3 months my TPO was down to 30 and eventually down to 12!
It is easier to be GF these days but I do try to makemy own GF bread, scones, cake etc so as not to have the additives!
Hope you get on alright.
Thanks Crimple
I am starting to realise how many things have gluten in them. I was surprised to see it in soy sauce! I think I can do it once I have worked out what I can eat but dairy free would be very difficult as I am vegetarian
