Thing is, he is 80 years old this year. There is a limit to how much driving he must want to do.... Even in one of his jags.

I think Dr Peatfield is based in Sussex or Surrey. Quite a distance to travel considering with my foggy head that I can get lost going to local shops haha.

I based in Liverpool but I would like to have a consult with Dr Peatfield.....I dream on!

I in the process of collating information with the aim of self treatment with NDT for hypothyroidism due to cancer an total thyroidectomy in 1992 . Consequently my TSH should be suppressed to low or undetectable levels.

Trouble is I don't think l would be able to interpret test results from Blue Horizon let alone take the correct dosage of NDT.

It's turning into a bit of nightmare....too much information that I cannot get my head around just yet.

Wish Dr Peatfield had a clinic near Liverpool or Chester

Can anyone please enlighten me and basil regarding Dr Peatfields clinics?

I recently had a letter from Dr Peatfield's secretaries saying that since his recent operation he has been advised to drastically reduce his workload. I assume this is why the Northern clinics are now closed. His secretaries will give advice and if they are not able to help will advise you to make an appointment for either an actual or telephone consultation - don't know whether that only applies to existing patients though. Hope that helps.

Thank you for your help . Two years ago I was going for my second app with Dr Skinner and sadly he died three days before . I seem to be drawing a blank every time I get close to seeing a helpful person 🙁

Oh that's awful! I do hope you find someone who can help you. It might be worth ringing the Peatfield clinic to see if anyone will advise you. Or have you tried Thyroid UK's list from Louise Warville to see if there's a suitable doc or endo near you?
