It's great what you're doing to raise funds. Thyroiduk.org is a very small organisation, working in the background and has spawned a great/informative site with lots of essential info.

It must have been difficult to survive without hundreds of unpaid hours given by the few in the office, plus allowing us to be more knowledgeable about our conditions and, for some of us, back to good health despite the 'hurdles' we came up against.

Although we use HU nowadays (which in itself has been a boon), without the foundation of Thyroiduk.org we would not be on this forum which many agree is of immense help.

Anyone can also become a member of Thyroiduk.org for £20 per year and get quarterly magazine and up-dated information on the progress of the aims of the charity. Details below.

hi shaws , I have ,do , and will never ever forget , that but for tuk -- and the good people that constantly offer advice / help / knowledge etc. /etc. / etc. my lady AND MYSELF AND OUR SON would not be where we are now === with a semblance of reasonable life === and I will continue to do whatsoever I can to keep it going for the others that will be coming [ like me ] in the future ....... and I take pride in whatever I am able to do for them all , in my small way ......its called payback - and will never ever be forgotten ....... alan the ali can man ..
