Could anyone please tell me if you've used Better You Goodnight Magnesium Spray, what's your experience and does it work. Or are there better products.

As always thanks to all of you kind folks xx

Yes, I use that - I spray it in the soles of my feet then out a pair of socks in and go to bed. I usually end up pulling the socks off and throwing them out of the bed during the night but the magnesium will most likely have done its stuff by then. I also like their magnesium flakes for in the bath.

I made my own mag oil (just magnesium flakes and water, though I think it is a humectant and in the end it attracts water anyway), but I must admit I hate the way it feels on my skin. I hadn't thought of spraying the soles of my feet Fruitandnutcase - genius! I added it to my aluminium-free deodorant so I made sure I was applying it every day.

I don't know if I'd call it insomnia, but I've recently had this problem of my body sort of forgetting which is day and which is night (staying up v late, not 'ready' to go to bed) so I'm using a light box in the mornings and am sleeping better. Also taking melatonin as suggested by some lovely person here. Have also had v good luck w Avena Sativa Comp Drops from Weleda.

some of the thing that I know that are good for sleep are magnesium calm tablets, valerian root extract, bach rescue sleep, meditation and the mindfulness course is also supposed to be good if you have sleeping issues. Chinese herbs ie .. ashwagandha, kava root tea, look into emotional freedom techniques and if your body does not become dependent on these tablets think about taking melatonin. Also check that your adrenals are working properly and if you get really stuck then think about getting your brain chemistry tested.

if low magnesium levels aren't the issue, i don't see why it would help.
