THS, free T4

Hello all.

Just got results THS 0.88 and free T4 15 is this ok; haven't done tests for long time so forgotten the values?

Vrboska, yes, they're euthyroid.

Possibly are euthyroid. In and of themselves. But that doesn't mean YOU ARE EUTHYROID because you haven't seen the FT3, and that is the most important number.

The TSH and the FT4 can be brilliant, but the FT3 could be very low.

Thanks hard to convince NHS GP and lab in that. I tried to get away by asking for t3 and t4 and reply is as always, lab will not do it if THS is normal. I would have to do it privately as I've done when I visited Dr. Peatfield.

Thanks guys. Never heard of word euthyroid before. I had 3 attempts to get t3 and t4 and Kingston hospital lab still failed to get f3 result. I just can't do it for the 4th time. I think probably if THS is normal they do not want to do t3 test for some reason, most probably it's money.
