Ferrous fumarate.

I was recommended to take ferrous fumarate to up my iron. But it says this in the info leaflet. Is it ok with levothyroxine?

The photo didn't upload, basically levothyroxine is in a list of medicines that may change the effects of the iron or visa versa.

My Gp said it was fine to take with levo but I've read otherwise so I take mine at opposite end of the day. I will add that since taking it I feel much better

Iron has to be taken 4 hours apart from levo. You shouldn't take other supplements with levo.

That's why I take any supplements/vitamins etc at lunchtime as most have to be taken with food.

Is it ok to take all supplements at the same time? I take Vit c, Ferris fumarate, B12, Bcomplex and a weekly Vit D3. I know it's 4 hours away from Levo or 2 hours with B12. But I'd prefer to take them altogether if possible as it feels like I'm forever taking tablets!

I find it more convenient and believe it's o.k. Food when eaten, our body absorbs all the vitamins etc from it.

Not together, at least a good couple of hours apart.

I take my levo at night anyway so take all my supplements in the morning with breakfast, although iron is supposed to be taken on an empty stomach. Bit tricky if you have to take several doses of iron per day like I did though..just have to do your best in that case. I dropped down to one a day once I started feeling better as it didn't do my stomach any favours.
