Welcome to our forum,
Yes, is the answer, the symptoms you state are common until you get onto a dose which will make you feel much better. It takes about six weeks for your dose of levothyroxine to take effect as it builds up slowly and you will be given increases about every six weeks till you feel much better. Some doctors stop increasing once your TSH gets into 'range' but we usually need our TSH to be around 1 or lower. So take notice of your results.
Always make the appointment for blood tests as early as possible and fast (you can drink water) and leave about 24 hours between your dose and the test and take it afterwards. Also ask for Vitamin B12, Vit D, iron, ferritin and folate to be tested too as we are usually deficient, which can also cause us problems.
Always get a print-out of your results for your own records and post if you have a query and for comments.
