I take 50 mcg of levo at 8 in the morning. (Been on this dose for 3 weeks) In the evening we usually sit and read, watch TV etc. I've been taking a b12 tablet in the afternoon for a couple of weeks too. Recently I've noticed that I can't keep my legs still in the late evening and feel a little agitated. Anyone know whether it may be caused by the b12?

You are in the early stages of your hormones and make your appointment so that your blood test can be taken in your sixth week.
Make the earliest possible appointment and fast (you can drink water) and leave approx 24 hours between your last dose of levo and the test and take levo afterwards.
You should also get a print-out of your blood test results with the ranges for your own records and you can post if you have a query.
You will probably get an increase of 25mcg. If he/she says you're on sufficient, state that you know the aim should be a TSH of around 1 or below whichever makes you feel well.

Hi Diyena,
I have what is known as RLS, ( restless legs syndrome) although it affects my arms as well. It is an awful condition to put up with. In saying that, it could very well be something connected to your thyroid medication.
Maybe you could check out the symptoms on RLS within HU.
Take care, and keep us posted,

Can be a sign of LOW iron - have you had your Ferritin - Folate - VitD tested ? How much B12 are you taking ? - and for how long ? Maybe try taking a GOOD B Complex with the B12 to keep all the B's in balance.
Everything takes time.....
A restless, crawling, burning, or tight sensation in the limbs is a possible side effect of b12. Also tight muscles, a sense of agitation, mood swings (especially at night) can occur with b12, often within several weeks of starting a supplement.
One thing to note is that b12 side effects may start several weeks in, and develop suddenly.
If course I can not say what your particular situation is.
I notice you are taking your B12 in the afternoon. It is often recommended to take it in the morning because of such symptoms. You may find something as simple as switching to morning might help.

Like diyena, I take my levo in the morning and have just started b12 supplements together with a b complex. Is it ok to take the b vits at the same time as the levo? I'm also taking iron with vit c and vit d but I take that with my evening meal well away from the levo.
Thanks

Just a suggestion, try taking the levo before you go to bed. Also. if you get jumpy, the dose may be too high.
25mcg had no affect so 50 mcg was the next step, I feel better on that but not healthy. So I don't think it can be too high, if even high enough. Or do you mean the b12? I take 500ug but my b12 before taking them was only 232ng/L (191-663). I'm also on a weekly dose of Vit d3 of 50,000IU as I'm extremely deficient
I thought I read to leave 4 hours between Levo and taking supplements. Is this correct?
