Hi I have reduced t3 from 45mcg to 40 mcg a day split into 3.I felt my mood dip for 2 days after I reduced. The next day felt mood had lifted and more energy,but today mood plummeted again and feeling so low.I am not a depressed person ,animated and positive when well even though I have been really ill for past 2 1/2 years and anxious about that I still retain my cheery nature ,but these dips are horrible and are definatly related to my dose of thyroid medication ,why is this ?

I think I've mentioned before that I take T3 once daily. I haven't had any dips or crashes and I take quite near the 40mcg daily. It is disappointing when switching from levo to T3 only and it's not performing as you would like.
