Very relevant to us hypos, so thought would post it. I knew that butter was good for us, actually bought some goat's butter, has 20% more butyric acid in it.
Now the goat's butter is going into my bulletproof coffee, and not the kerrygold for now.
Here is a link, but there is a lot on the net about this subject:-
I have remained steadfastly loyal to butter throughout the years . Have seen it go in and out of favour as health fads change . Even remember my mother rubbing it on childhood bumps and bruises .But I can't get my head around butter in coffee though , I'll have to man up and give it a go .
Am going to give the goat's butter a try in my Christmas gingerbread, which also has to be gluten free, one, for my coeliac daughter, and, two for me, and it is better to be gluten free for everybody.
You'll find butter or goat's butter in coffee is lovely, creamy and gorgeous, but then I'm totally biased. I was actually quite amazed that I liked the goat's butter in my coffee, as much as the Kerrygold butter. It's often on offer at Asda, that's why I bought it, not many people know of it's benefits, the list just goes on!
Take care, and enjoy your bulletproof coffee, Veronica
