I had to stay overnight away from home and forgot to bring my Levo. I would normally take it anytime between 6am and 9am depending on when I get up (and on an empty stomach). I'm thinking of taking the dose at 6pm tonight before I eat and work backwards 3 hours each day until I get to back to normal 6am-9am or just take the dose (112.5 mcg) at 6pm and revert to normal next morning. I have read that if you forget/miss you should miss out that day but interested in people views / experience.

Forgot dosage
I don't think it's a disaster if you miss a tablet; I forgot for the first time last week as I had to get up ridiculously early. I waited till the next day and took as usual - no problems at all.
As levo has a long half-life, just take it in the morning as you usually do.

Missing one day won't be a problem. I've had to do it on the odd occasion.
For the future, consider buying one of the small aluminium tubes available on eBay, Amazon, etc. Small enough for keyring or loop on a bag. Large enough to take one or two tablets, in their blister pack, if trimmed carefully. Am sure there are other similar ideas out there as well.
Swap around every few weeks so you don't have a massively out-of-date tablet as your emergency supply!
i always carry a few spares around just in case.
ib703, just take your dose today and go back to normal dose time tomorrow morning.
I would double up your dose for the day, after all levothyroxine is a storage hormone and tests were done where they just dosed people once a week instead of daily and it worked out ok. Doubling the days dose means that overall you weekly total will be the same.
I wouldnt do this for any t3 products though....
