Appointment request
Have you had a blood test recently? There could be a slight issue with one of the results, but if it isn't life-threatening in any way then only a routine appointment will be needed.
You have a chronic condition - perhaps it is time it was reviewed.
Since you post on a thyroid forum you obviously have a thyroid problem - perhaps it is time for a review and more blood tests.
I've had letters telling me to make a routine appointment in the past. The reason has always been totally underwhelming.
Yes I had blood test a week ago last Thursday, but when I called to make appointment the receptionist said my bloods were fine this time, it just said on my notes please make routine appointment. So nothing to really worry about could just be checking medication etc.
You should ask the doctor for a printout of the results when you see him/her. You are entitled to a copy. If they ask why just say you want to start keeping your own records. Since the results are for tests done within the last 40 days you can't be charged other than a small amount for paper and ink.
Okay thanks made me feel a little less worried.
