More energy with a cold despite feeling stuffed

My normal temperature is 35.4-8 but due to a cold it has risen to 36.4 . I have more energy and focus. Not having to drag my self out of bed . Any views

I've noticed this effect too. I often have more energy when suffering with a cold. I had never made the connections between raising my temperature, having a cold, and thyroid problems, so thank you for pointing it out!

Yes I have noticed this too.

I think it's down to an already heightened immune response with regard to Hashi antibodies.... but I really don't know..!

Yes I've noticed this too. I always take elderberry extract when I have a cold, it gets rid of them very quickly, and I thought the elderberries were affecting or dampening down something, but when I mentioned it to my holistic practitioner he said it was probably the rise in temperature because mine is usually low too. I also have much more energy when the weather is really hot and when other people are falling about saying it's too hot!

Me too! I find when I'm feeling bad wrapping myself up warmly helps. I keep a blanket at my desk at work too. Grin.
