Was wondering if anyone knew if it's safe to take macca root with thyroxine, it's supposed to be a fantastic product for the menopause, I'm nervous of trying it in case it reacts with my thyroxine, it contains iodine 3.5%.

Maca is an adaptogen and this means that it works to balance hormone problems within the body where imbalance lies.

It may change your endocrine hormone levels and upset your thyroid meds. I wouldn't take it but others might have found it useful as it gets good write ups.
