been on sotalol for a while now 40mg morning and night, it kind of helped but pulse was still higher than normal for e
dr increased to 60mg morning and night been ok on that but today my pulse has been really low, 49 at one point but mainly in the 50's, slowly starting to rise now
has anyone else been on thsi med?

Sotalol is for irregular heartbeat. I wonder if you might find more help on one of the other communities as well as this one.
You say you are feeling really hypo. Are you on thyroid medication as well?
If so let us know your blood test results and someone here may be able to help you.
im on 62.5mcg T3 daily but the last few days ive felt no benefit at all from it (new box)
i was given the sotalol because where my thyroid wasnt being treated well my heart rate was pretty fast (one of my undermedicated symptoms) before i was on propranalol 10mg but dr changed to these and they have to be taken regular to work and i think today they worked a bit too well, i might ask for something that i can take as needed
had bloods done few days ago so results should be in next week
just checked and i opened the second box a few days ago, i wonder if they are weaker or something, both boxes brought together
Mandy, check the batch no. on the box. If it's the same as your previous batch there's little likelihood of potency variation.

wonder why ive not been doing so well, surely i cant be more hypo than before

i did stop all supps except t3 and holy basil for a few weeks
bloods tested are TSH FT4 T4 iron ferritin folate B12 and glucose (they were requested by me T3 and vit d both refused)
