Does Guggul gum put t3 into the cells

Want to know if Guggul gum not only converts t4 to t3 but also gets it into the cells

I can't see anything in it that would improve T3 conversion or transport to cells.

My doc says one of his patients found something at a health food store that converts t4 to t3. What could it have been?

Nicole, You should have asked him. The only thing I can think of is selenium. It supports thyroid but doesn't necessarily improve conversion or transport.

Hi Nicole, I was given Guggul by my doctor (functional medicine specialist) to help convert T4 to T3. It is supposed to help with conversion, but it didn't work with me. He never said that it would help T3 get into the cells though.
