Generic Medications

There was an article in Pulse on 7/7/15 about generic medications causing patients to need many other drugs. Are their 'chickens now coming hometo roost' and us patients all suffering because of this?

Link on fb page (PulseToday.co.uk) is bit.ly/ICjKBRg.

Thanks for putting correct link hb. I have already registered. I left a comment on the fb page. That was what I though my link should have led to.

J_Bee, I've no trouble believing that some patients do suffer when switched from brands to generics. I thought that GPs were allowed to switch them back to the branded version if there were adverse effects on the patients' health. It seems wrong that the 75 year old patient had to pay for a private prescription to continue on the drug which she was stable on.
