Underactive Thyroid
Hi and welcome to our forum, but your post doesn't give many details about yourself. i.e. have you been diagnosed with hypothyroidism, does a family member have a thyroid gland problem?
Do you need some advice/help about your condition. Have you been prescribed medication and what dose?
What's that
Hi daniloveshaun88
So you have an overactive thyroid gland, i.e. hyperthyroidism. You were very young when you were diagnosed andI wonder how you coped at such a young age with it.
I am glad the doctor is giving you a blood test every three months. Are you under the care of an Endocrinologist and what is your treatment?
Others who have hyperthyroidism (overactive thyroid gland) might be able to help you if you are struggling in any way with your treatment. There are two types of hyperthyroid diseases, one is called Hashimoto's and you are first diagnosed due to having thyroid antibodies. the second is called Graves Disease. This is re Hashimotos:

You do eventually become hypothyroid with this disease.
