Did you manage to follow the advice from your thread of a month ago ? The information from Louise ? The results of the B12 - Ferritin - VitD are also important....if any of these are low you will feel unwell. Have you increased your dose ?
What are you hoping your Endo will do you ? It is important to have some clear ideas of your aims so you can guide the conversation in a positive direction.
My vit d tested low and so I've taken supplements and this has made me feel a bit less sore but not less tired and more like me.
Yes agree re clear idea of what I want. I would like to try some other form of levo but not sure if they'll laugh me out of the room! My doc is very clear they don't prescribe anything else on nhs
How much do you take of VitD ? What was your result ? You need to dose according to your result . Difficult for people to assist if we do not know your results. It is often advised here that we do not accept OK or Normal from the medical people. Where you are in the range is critical to your wellbeing. GP's don't care as they can then prescribe you lots of pills for lots of conditions when you may just be deficient in thyroid hormones or vitamins and minerals....sad but true.
Your levo will not convert from T4 into the ACTIVE T3 if your Ferritin is Low - along with the Iron - Folate - B12 - VitD. You also need to know if you have anti-bodies and therefore have Hashimotos.
Do you have any gut issues ? I only ask as I believe serotonin is made in the gut....
I got off the phone and realised I difny have the numbers. She said take an over counter iron supplement which I did but that upset my stomach and I've not been back since.
