Lumps in neck

Have approxatley 7 lumps in throat, Dr wants to wait 6. Months to redo ultra sound, have notice a tightening of the neck, seems to be getting worse, said they were surrounding goitor.

I'm sorry you've not yet had a response but someone who has more knowledge or similar to you will respond.

It must be worrying for you at present as all the sensations will be strange and I hope you can a response quite soon.

How long have you had these lumps? Are they all in your thyroid?

I'm afraid I don't know anything of your history but If they are relatively new (last year or so?) and as you can feel them, you should probably have a FNA done on any particularly prominent ones. This is usually done alongside an ultrasound by inserting a needle int the lump and getting a sample for analysis. Its not a real unpleasant procedure but can be a uncomfortable depending on who / how its done.

Hi Personally I would ask for a fine needle biopsy done under ultra sound.I could not have one because of other conditions but mine has got no worse so lucky.
