I have felt better since eating a lot of eggs-just wondering what liver done in coconut oil tastes like! I used to take a spoonful daily but couldn't continue. So trying to cook with it. Liver not keen on but used to tolerate when I was pregnant which is so long ago now! Just wondered if I could combine the two-anyone tried?

I dread to think what it tastes like! lol I can't stand coconut oïl, unfortunately. But I do like liver.

How about this recipe, using good olive oïl :

Cut the liver into bite-sized pièces, brush with oïl and sprinkle with salt and freshly ground Pepper. Grill until done to taste. Mix up a sauce with olive oïl, lemon juice, chopped flat-leaf parsely or coriander, salt and Pepper, and drizzle over the liver pièces. Serve in warmed bowls with fresh, crusty bread.

Doesn't that just make you drool??? lol I love it.

Sounds good. Don't actually like liver but do sometimes have a try as I know it's good for me. But yes I can't imagine the taste with coconut but may be, as I have the onion will do them both in olive oil! The other will put on hold for warmer weather, sounds good! Thank you!

Oh, I didn't know you had to have a recipe for Liver and bacon with onion gravy. lol I've been doing that for years! It's wonderful!

I sometimes get cravings for liver - must be the iron. I bought a heap of liver a few months ago, to make liver paté, but it never got to the paté stage because I was eating it out of the frying pan as it cooked! Listen to your body, I alwas say, it knows what it wants!
