More balanced article on worldwide Iodine deficiency

This website gives an overview of iodine deficiency areas worldwide and also comments on for example US iodine uptake of recent years; it shows where people should be concerned and where not. Also in iodine-deficient areas we should consider iodine supply from produce transported from iodine sufficient areas elsewhere.

I'm not sure it will work for non-subscribers, you will have to check it, I have their cookies so it works for me. As has been discussed in other posts, iodine consumption has fallen by over 50% here in the US over the last 40+ years. Pregnant women are not getting enough iodine which needs to be corrected. PR
