Isn't that the turmeric? I chuck it in most things, nice yellow colour - it doesn't taste of much apparently. Lunch today - wokked a chicken breast, onion, mushrooms, coconut milk, yoghurt - seasoning/herbs paprika & turmeric - (rice & cabbage) would've been much improved if I'd had some creme fraiche 'tho...

ate in the sun, then gardened - dug in compost, planted beans, onions, carrots, parsnips, spuds & strawberry plants - watered with lovely diluted poo, then cleaned out the shed whilst babysitting.... I must be solar powered!

Can't move much now 'tho! J :D

Still remember my first in Bradford, bare tables ,no cutlery just pick up with a chappati and very cheap. That was about 1966. Food hygiene mob made them re floor and reptile and replace the tables. Not the same.

Trouble is ,now even a medium strength has sweat pouring off me!

My first curry was in Soho, in a very fancy restaurant, with a very fancy boyfriend. I was 17. Ahhhhhh those were the days!

You over-did it, you silly girl!

Yes, it's the termeric. Actually, it tastes foul if you taste it on its own.

I Don't even want to think about what you did yesterday. Just the idea of it makes me come over all weak with exhaustion!

I don't mind it - even drink it as a tea sometimes - slightly bitter (but you could add coriander powder to counteract that).

I lived in Birmingham for many years - and we ate curry at tables covered with a huge piece of Indian bread which we broke off and used to scoop the food out of dog bowls.....it was as if we were in someone's front room - think it was.... before they had official restaurants....

You wouldn't be allowed to do that now!

Am full of ideas but lacking the energy to follow through ! Same here in Crete - no curry. There is someone making curry and Thaifood which can be delivered .....

Well, that's better than nothing! Haven't even go that here for Indian food - although Thai food is easy to find.

Yes, I know what you mean about the ideas, same here! If I could carry through all the ideas I've had over the years, I'd be a millionaire! Sigh.

Too true.Just returned from brain scan, weird noises like hammers ,drills and electro punk- whatever that was! Would more curry prevent or cure ataxia ,doubt it .

I found the changes in sounds very unexpected not alarming. Was expecting a continuous drone .You have a frame with see through glass/ plastic windows .I was told one lady had a small spider walking around the inside of the frame but did not flinch . I suppose it was a diversion!

Started on Curcumin last year after reading a piece about it. What a difference it has made to joint pain. So must be really good for inflammation. BTW you can use the actual power, tumeric to brush your teeth and make them extra white :-) (whilst making everything else extra yellow :-()

I had to put a heaped teaspoon into water - stir and drink as part of my Ayeurvedic Treatment in India back in 2000. Did it for a year - think I will go back to it....

Not when it's your stainless steel draining board! I upset the pot. Took me years to get rid of it!
