Pain in legs
Welcome to the forum, Supastace.
Thyroid problems can affect leg muscles, makes them feel weak. If you post your recent thyroid results with the lab ref ranges (the figures in brackets after your results) members will advise whether you are optimally medicated.
Low vitamin D, ferritin, B12 and folate are common in hypothyroid patients and cause musculoskeletal pain, fatigue and low mood similar to hypothyroid symtoms so it may be worth asking your GP to test them.
Hi Supastace, I had pains in my legs but more noticeably in my ankles when undermedicated. I had very low vitamin d too but when I was on a good dose of daily vitamin d and my thyroid levels were in range, my pains eased. I still get them occasionally but it is normally when my levels are out of range.
