Why does this country have to be so contrary! It seems to do everything the wrong way round.!

I think the surge in reports about fluoridation in the UK was caused by Public Health England (PHE) wanting to institute water fluoridation in Hampshire and Southampton. But thankfully the councils of both areas have not given their backing to the idea, so the idea was dropped in October 2014.

gov.uk/government/news/sout...

The article you link to is dated April 2014, so hopefully the idea has gone away for now. But obviously we must be forever vigilant!

Interestingly, the reports from PHE about water fluoridation and the effects on health don't mention the word thyroid in either the Executive Summary :

gov.uk/government/uploads/s...

Or the full report :

gov.uk/government/uploads/s...

So they cherry-picked the data they wanted, to present their insane idea in the best possible light. Why am I not surprised? And can I say, I'm still worried. This stupid idea just won't die!

And neither will it whilst Big Industy (branch of Big Pharma) rules. They always cherry-pick data; It's the only way to get what they want.

Yes, best to be vigilant because this isn't just going to go away and die quietly in a corner.

I had a whole home, water filtration system put in 3 years ago. A gift from my boyfriend. No more Fluoride or Chlorine, or anything else. I can give more info if you like. It is a reverse Osmosis and filters never need changing.

I didn't think that even reverse osmosis could remove fluoride. But it's not a problem I have here in France. They Don't put fluoride in the water.

The instructions say it removes all that stuff. Good for France!!! At least they did that right!!!

They get quite a lot of things right, actually.

i meant in terms of Thyroid/autoimmune disease treatment.

I am very unhappy with what has become of the United States, especially the past 7 years..i am really upset by our Pres. I didn't vote for him. Totally appalling, what he has done. Medical care is worse than ever, more out of pocket expenses than ever in my life. ..just bad all around.

I live in the US. I have an Ecopure or Eco Pure whole house water filtration system.. You would need to have a Plumber install it. I do not have the info on it near by. I hope this helps some.
