Yes, it usually is folic acid they put in the B complex. And it will always be folic acid if a doctor prescribes it!

Oh dear, I take gp prescribed folic acid 5mg due to low folate. What alternative, if any, should I be taking instead please? Xx

I'm sorry, I have don't know enough about folate to be able to say. Maybe read up on it a bit before buying - or post another question - the problem with Amazon is that they give you so little information. Whereas if you go onto a site that is specifically suppléments, you might get more advice.

We spoke a few days ago ! I was the one who had an adverse reaction to just a few low dose Folic Acid tablets. Now that I've read the information in the link you posted.

I realise that I was poisoning myself.
