AS ANYONE SUFFERED FROM TEMPOROMANDIBULAR JOINT DYSFUNCTION (TJM). Have had it for 2 weeks now with no relief.

Yes I have TMJ. Have had it for about 3 years now. Unfortunately have tried various things but nothing gets rid of it completely. I do wear a mouthguard at night (made by my dentist) which does help a bit. It was only more recently that I read that TMJ could be linked to my thyroid autoimmune disease!

Yup, I've had it for years, though it's never been as severe again as it was right at the start (lots of pain, couldn't even turn my head). 'Taking Control of TMJ' by Robert O Uppgaard has some useful information about exercises etc.

I know of a TMJ release exercise which I do on clients, where necessary, also a SCM release exercise.

It is probably a good idea to check your B12 level. Some people have reported TMJ-like pains which have improved with better B12 levels.

If at all possible, get a B12 test done before you supplement with any B12. If you do supplement, you run the risk of never having a test showing a low enough B12 to convince a sceptical doctor.
