Well done Dr Black! Anyone struggling to get diagnosed could show this to their doctor to encourage a trial of levo.

It would have been nice to have seen what her TSH reading was when she was diagnosed. Getting a diagnosis is the first major hurdle we need to overcome and we've all heard the 'normal' result while we're feeling like a pile of warmed up poo! I'm glad she felt so much better so quickly after starting Levo... Unfortunately many are not so lucky and it would have been nice to have some more information than the usual 'I-take-my-little-white-pill-once-a-day-and-feel-normal-again'... I have left a comment to that effect on the article.
