Thanks :-) I was told to ensure I had good Potassium after B12 injection - so I have a banana :-)

Yes, bananas are supposed to be good. But how much are we actually absorbing? That's the question.

Hi Potassium is affected by magnesium , both are electrolytes. Ideally it should be at 4.0. Only take in food without weekly blood tests and on a script. It is a very dangerous substance if just taken.

No-one's suggesting that anyone 'just take' it. It says in the article that it's affected by magnesium and that improving magnesium levels can improve potassium levels.

Yes, been reading that taking Methyl B12 / Folate can lower Potassium

- pity there isn't a home test (as with Glucose) so you could keep

check.

Hi There is a home machine for measuring Potassium but completely unreliable and expensive. Best to have U`s and E`s done regularly as no way of telling otherwise. Magnesium should be done separately if Potassium very low or high.
