Having been on armour for nearly 2 years and I have been really well, migraines have gone and now I am being told that they can't get it anymore, and that I will have to have erfa, should I be worried and is this happening to anyone else? many thanks in advance

Groaten, one of the specialist medicines wholesalers should stock it. Check them out and ask your pharmacist to register and place an order through them. I think Pharmarama on the attached link have stopped stocking Armour thyroiduk.org.uk/tuk/treatm...

I was told this by my local chemist but then someone on here said that Lloyds stocked it in their warehouse. I tried my local Lloyds and have collected my prescription today. It did take them a week to get but they didn't say that it was a problem, just a special order.

I have been really lucky with boots the pharmacy has even stockpiled what stock he could get hold of but thats probably down too the individual who has been brillant, I have rang all my local pharmacies none can get it, to be honest I am anxious about changing but will try and think positive, I will know quite quickly I think if it doesn't work, as before I had cluster migraines which nothing worked for,and I had tried everything every antidepressant, beta blockers nothing worked or stopped the pain, I have had the best year ever after 20 odd years of migraines not even one, my skin is better no cracking my hair has stayed in, no bad periods, no blurring no bad constipations, and I am loving life.

Has anyone else changed and got on well with erfa, many thanks karen

Wanted to purchase Armour from Pharmarama (think they changed their name though) Dec last year and they said that the manufacturer will stop exporting to Europe.

You can order it from <an online pharmacy> but obviously you have to pay. It takes about a week to get to you and then you have to pay VAT on it and post office charges when it arrives in UK. I had some a month ago so they were still selling then and it is still on their web site.
