Horizontal ridges across finger nails

Since taking NDT 9 weeks ago, I have noticed horizontal ridges going across my finger nails - which are just over half way now. Probably about 9 weeks worth?! Has anybody else noticed these lines? Or could it be something else causing it?

I suspect that is probably thyroid related. I have 2 deep horizontal ridges across my big toenails, nearly grown out now, and left over from when I crashed last Xmas.

I've had these for ages/years and quite bad now, so I've just bought a formula from Tesco for treating Ridges. They split through them terrible but it's certainly not at the top of my worry list.

Google "beau's lines" and mention them to your doctor next time. It is probably not related to the NDT but to the hypo. It takes a while for nail changes to show up.
