I wouldn't recommend taking any products while you are on levothyroxine as it could interfere with the uptake and you become more unwell.

I know it is very difficult when hypo and on levo with weight gain. Are you on the optimum of medication? You can tell if you are as weight gained can usually reduce when you are on optimum.

If you get a copy of your latest blood tests for your thyroid gland, or get new ones if you've not had them recently. Make sure the ranges are stated too and post for members to comment.

Do you feel well otherwise, or is it just the weight gain that's the problem?

Thank you for your reply and I was just wondering thank you I will not buy the. I am on 100 mg of levo and my last appointment with the hospital was about three months ago and they said that everything is stable |I am due to go in Sept for one more appointment and if that is same again they will just refer me back to my Doctor. I am not really doing much exercise as I have to have a bunion operation in about 10 weeks so sort of lost interest. Maybe when I have had the operation and my foot has healed hopefully I will be able to jog again. Alixxx

Am I right in thinking that Adios prevents you from absorbing fat? This can cause a lot of issues with fat soluble vitamins.

Can you get a copy of the blood tests the hospital took. I assume they send a copy to your GP. Make sure you also get the ranges. You can then post them for comments by members as you may be undermedicated.

Thank you I will, I did ask my Doctor that I felt not as tired as I have been and suggested would he be able to up my dose of levo but he said something about my bone density when I am older that if my levels are stable and I insist on upping my medication that I would have problems when I am older. x
