Well, I find that a strange thing to say because you shouldn't take anything at the same time as your thyroid meds.

However, walnuts are goitrogens. See here :

Eating walnuts at any time of the day used to make me very ill. Until I suppressed all thyroid function. Now I can eat them with no ill effect.
