Welcome to the forum, AparajitaS. Levothyroxine should be taken with a large glass of water on an empty stomach one hour after food & drink or two hours after. It should be taken 2 hours away from other medicines and supplements, including folic acid, and 4 hours away from iron, calcium and oestrogen.

Undiagnosed and under medicated hypothyroidism can make conception difficult and can cause miscarriages. TSH should be in the low normal range 0.4-2.0 in hypothyroid women trying to conceive and pregnant.

If you post your recent thyroid results with the lab ref ranges (the figures in brackets after your results) and tell us what medication you're taking we're happy to advise.

In a roundabout way taking them together can affect fertility as folic acid can affect absorption of the thyroxine which then affects the availability of it to the body.

As clutter says you want your tsh in the low range below 2 to help with fertility, good luck!
