Sent to him by GP got appointment next Tuesday-wondered what battles to expect
Has anyone had experiences with Endocrinologist... - Thyroid UK
Has anyone had experiences with Endocrinologist Dr Springs from Kingston hospital London ? (also works Epsom/Molesey surgeries )
No info either way here... xx
if you look him up you will find he has many flags, whereas his counterpart at Kingston Hospital has only a few.
Give me Dr. Spring anytime. He is a gentleman. He may insist on RAI but I am my own person and will resist with my final ounce! He doesn't hold it against me
Radioactive Iodine to wipe out your thyroid! He also practises from Harley Street!
Well let's just say you could be paying a lot of money to see him - I hope you're seeing him NHS?
He is a very pleasant chap, probably late 40s, introduces himself, shakes your hand and offers you a seat.
Then he listens. I got to see him after complaining about the other endos at Kingston and he even operates from a different part of the hospital - the posh part (Sir William Rous Wing). Good luck. Go well prepared. Another good thing, if you have any worries, is you can e-mail his secretary at the hospital
Yes , it's nhs thank god!
I have spoken to his secretary several times and she is brilliant !
What preparation should I be doing ? I'm new to all this and have just been fobbed off by my GP for nearly 2 years now !
Sorry Stuart,
The link didn't come back to me (I think you got spammed). Hope the appointment went well.
