can either hypo or levo aggravate arthritis. I have arthritis in my feet and knees and since the endo increased my levo to 50 - which I know is not high but I am quite newly diagnosed - my knees and feet have been really painful.

It may be due to the fact that your are newly diagnosed and only beginning levo.

I didn't have arthritis, but it was only when I was on levo that I could barely move for pain, all over but particularly when trying to walk - (could only shuffle). Couldn't bend knees or lift arms.

I am o.k now as I have stopped levothyroxine and switched. I take T3 alone and have no pain and feel normal health but I know, initially, some people have more problems till they get to an optimum dose of levo. P.S. I forgot (how could I) to mention the severe palpitations to when on levo .
