Am now thinking doc not botheting explaning things to me, a dont go regular to the loo its about every 2 weeks and hr just says it will sort its self out

It might be that you need t3 or armour ndt my dear. You should be able to ask the docs for a print out of your blood results and then you can post them. Truth is though if you feel bad after a while on Levo it might not be working well for you. I had depression and extreme fatigue on Levo for two years until I researched armour and t3... Most gps won't help you with t3 as they are all paranoid about it. Have you seen an endocrinologist? I think thyroid UK have a t3 friendly list and also thyroid patient advocacy do too xx

Sorry to hijack but want to ask why must you not take thyroxine for 24 hours before blood test? I have never been told this, sometime the person taking blood asks when I last took my meds and sometimes not.

If you take Levo before having the test done, it's more likely that your GP will want to reduce your dose due to thinking that you're over medicated. GPs seem to assume that it makes no difference to your test results, but it does.
