I am not sure whether I have Hashimotos (not really sure what it is, but seen it mentioned on here) however, I have hypothyroidism and have noticed hearing problems seem to accompany the other symptoms - I will watch with interest any replies.

Many people have tinnitus with hashimoto, including me for many years. I don't think I had hearing loss at the time but I would not be surprised if that was also a possibility.

I was diagnosed with an "autoimmune" problem following a scan of my thyroid which showed "one side is smaller than a child's, and the other side is smaller still'' although Hashimotos has never been said specifically. But since I went so down hill that I was given the scan, plus T3 added to my T4 as I was so ill, my hearing has most definitely deteriorated. It is very noticeably poorer than before.
