I get a nasty taste if I eat food I'm intollerant to. For me that's usually wheat (I'm not coeliac).

Wheat intollerance is very common and difficult to identify as most people eat it every day.

Make sure you don't miss meals.

If your adrenals are struggling you will have these symptoms. So be sure your adrenals are okay because thyroid meds.. only causes more problems if your low cortisol.

I have just had my first routine bloods taken after my thyroid removal ,so hopefully If there's anything wrong they will find out, I'm new to all this so your help is very much appreciated thank you

If you miss a meal your blood sugar will drop and the symptoms you are describing are low blood sugar and eating will get rid of the symptoms. Its not the throxine you just need to eat regularly
