Not getting email notifications.

Hi, I've been going through my activity and it's obvious I'm not getting notifications at the moment.

What do I do?

Have you checked your communication settings in your profile?

If they are all ticked as they should be, you will have to contact HU via Help.

Or email support@healthunlocked.com

I know this might sound daft, but were they definitely replies to you, or your own thread, or just comments on a thread you have also commented on?

Threads can sometimes get sooo messy!

I know you are an old hand at this now - but just thought I'd check - save you driving yourself mad! LOL!

Also - did you try ticking and unticking...? x

I know what you mean Louise, it can get confusing, but one was "Hi Helcaster" I did get a few emails this morning, so who knows. But you know what it's like, you reply to a few posts trying to help out, and before you know it 6 messages come through, and that hasn't been happening. I guess if someone didn't click on reply you would never know, but it does seem to be going on for a while as I've felt a bit put out by the lack of responses.

I'll go into my activity and monitor it, and get back to you.

Hi lola1956, maybe it's worth you emailing support too, the address is at the top, in Louise's reply.

I wrote yesterday, but not heard anything yet.

It's really frustrating when you've written a lengthy post and then not getting a response

Noted the other day that when I used the 'reply to this' button, it didn't work but posted as a new reply to the original post. So that wouldn't appear as an email to the person I was really trying to reply to - if you see what I mean. Someone had replied to me but it hadn't actually registered as a direct reply. Looks as though it might be fixed now.

Hi tin-lizzy, I've had that happen loads of times, then I get ticked off for not clicking on "reply" when I know full well I have. It happens a lot if I use my iPhone I've noticed. More recently I'm using a tablet as it's quicker and the print is larger, and it doesn't seem to happen as much. Before so many times I'd click on reply, and my post would be waaay down the page. Been doing this quite a long time, and I know mistakes can be made, but I am a bit on automatic pilot with the site, so I know it's been mucking up!

I just noticed it says 16 replies, I can only find 9. Someone just emailed me regarding ticking all the communication boxes, and I can't see this person's post

When you see a user name of Hidden, it means that the person is no longer a member of this forum.

We often close posts that were originated by people who have left - there is no point in wasting our time making replies. Occasionally, the thread might still be active and popular and will be left. More often, it is simply a case of none of the admins noticing!
