Does anyone know if there is any difference as the Armour appears to need to be prescribed but you can buy porcine glandular extract from ARG or Nutri supplement companies?

The ones that are sold as 'thyroid support' are supposed to have had the hormones removed.
This is a controversial and complicated subject that comes up a lot!
